I‘m amazed! I updated to current Firefox 3.5 this week, and did a bit more research about the abilities to provide location information to website and found some stuff on the firefox website http://de.www.mozilla.com/de/firefox/geolocation/. I tried the demo, and the position was accurate to something around 100-200 metres. I really had no idea that the precision of just using IP adresses was that high!
Endlich habe ich eine vernünftige in Python geschriebene Blog-Engine gefunden, und kann somit meinen Server komplett PHP-frei halten. Wie es aussieht ist Zine selbst noch relativ neu, auch wenn die Vorgängerversion schon eine Weile existierte. Der letzte Reddit Eintrag ist erst einen Tag alt.
In Zukunft werde ich hier einige Gedanken von mir zum Thema Entwicklung und Software Architektur notieren, vielleicht gibt es den ein oder anderen der sich dafür interessiert.
Seit vorgestern habe ich nun auch mein neues Android-Handy, da hoffe ich auch die ein oder andere Applikation zu fabrizieren.
Als erstes allerdings werde ich ein Projekt in Angriff nehmen, über welches ich berichten werde wenn es so weit ist.
